The anywhere 2 is eminently portable, particularly when you consider that it eliminates the need to lug a computer along with you. It looks much like any other manually fed portable scanner, at 1.7 by 10.6 by 2.3 inches (HWD), and it weighs slightly...

Highly portable. Scans without a computer. Handles photos surprisingly well (although not at particularly high quality)

Poor business card recognition. Can take up to 4 hours for a full battery charge

The IRIScan anywhere 2 lets you scan at up to letter size without a computer, and comes with software to work with the files after you move them to your computer.
