Epson Perfection V800 Photo

The Epson Perfection V800 Photo scanner delivers top-quality scans for photographic prints, as well as for film (positive or negative) as large as 8 by 10 inches.

High-quality scans for photographic prints and film (including slides). Scan modes range from full auto to full control over settings.

Doesn't come with a photo editor or any other application program.

If price isn't an issue, you should also take a look at the Epson Perfection V850 Pro, which offers a somewhat higher-quality optical system than the Epson Perfection V800 Photo and comes with color-calibration software. However, the exceedingly small...

Graphic Art Scans

I think this is a great scanner if someone scanning photos for a living and knows a few things in photoshop. I don't think there is any scanner out there any cheaper or the same price with the same quality as this one.

I purchased the scanner to scan my artwork. Airbrush Illustrations, charcoal drawings and other paintings to be run off on a printing press for selling prints. This review is not on scanning any slides or negatives. I am very picky on the scans being...

I feel the images could be a little sharper and crisper with more accurate colors when compared to the original. Using photoshop to get the files how I wanted took a more time then I expected. The bed is a bit small for most of my work but I knew this...

Epson Perfection V800 Photo Color Scanner

" Opened box, found skimpy directions in four languages, followed set up instructions 1 thru 5 as pictures showed and accomplished initial scan. However I cannot get the scanner to do the next image...seems like there is no power to the machine,...

fastscan

" Scanner is fast to warm up and fast to scan. Doing all my scans at double resolution or higher now because of speed. Epson scan software is straightforward. Have tried few negatives so far but with no problems. Speed is better than I expected. "

Efficient photo scanner

" This scanner was easy to get up and running in a Windows 10 environment. The scan sequence is relatively fast compared to my office HP scanner. The bundled SilverFast software did not run however. Does not work like a dedicated document scanner out...

Great Scanner

" I like this scanner very much. It offers up extreme quality scans. The only negative that I have to offer is that the film holders are very difficult to use. Their design is problematic. Apart from being very time consuming to load film into and get...

Great scanner for the money!

" This is an wonderful improvement over the Epson 4870 Photo scanner which I used before. It is not a drum scanner but I am not printing billboard size work. It scans beautifully, albeit noisily. I LOVE that I can scan film without a film carrier....
