Xerox DocuMate 515 reviews the Xerox DocuMate 515 large format scanner and ranks its features side by side with competing large document scanners.

Xerox technical support by telephone is free for the life of the product

Scan density is perfectly adequate, but it is bested by most competitors

The Xerox large format scanner is more than satisfactory for scanning legal-sized documents.

extremely difficult to learn to use software

good price for flat bed with ADF. OCR. . a lot of functions and options

had to remove Paperport as it was screwing-up my entire system. after many many hours I am still learning to use One Touch and Omnipage pro. I just way to complicated and I'm not a novice at computer tech at all

Awkward software, terrible feeder, high quality scans

The price is right for the once-a-month scan, but if you plan on using it more often this is Definitely NOT your product.

Simple Design. Scanner does a fairly good job of high res color scans

Install was a challenge as the driver was difficult to load. The feeder often jams, even if you are scanning a few pages. The software that comes with the scanner is awkward to use and time consuming

Awful product that is inferior to Epson scanner

The document feeder does not do a good job of ensuring the paper is straight when being fed into scanner. Majority of scans are crooked. Have had several incedence of where the scanner has pulled multiple pages through ADF rather one page at a...

Relatively cheap for an ADF scanner

Extremely poor document feeder. Bundled software is slow and cumbersome. Poor colour reproduction. Flimsy when compared to competition

good value

Working great. Excellent value, decent speed for a budget scanner. Supports our TWAIN software in Windows 7

Wouldn't mind if it was faster. Have to be a little careful to load it straight

Xerox Document Software the Best

This scanner is amazing. I have this version and the version before it. The best part of this scanner is that it comes with Nuance brand software that allows me to delete parts of pdf documents and jpg photographs WITHOUT buying Adobe Acrobat. I can...

I agree with the last guy...poor quality

I have had this thing less than a year and the document feeder no longer works. I have to scan all documents on the flatbed and that doesn't work in my busy office. This item was too expensive to act like a cheap disposable. Thought I was getting...

I upgraded from the Xerox Documate 510 to the Xerox Documate 515, and so far I am happy with this upgrade. More features, and better sofware. I like the legal capabilities and the ontouch scan buttons.
