Mushkin Enhanced MKNSSDCL120GB-DX

Being used as a boot drive for a HTPC. Computer boots nearly instantly and is quiet. No issues.

Worked. Fast, quick booting, no drive errors

Works really well

This SSD is SATA2. The SATA3 disks are cheaper and are backward compatible. BUT, after reading many reviews, it seems that when a SATA3 SSD is plugged into a SATA2 bus, there must be some overhead for the backward compatiblity. It SEEMS that a SATA3...

Fast fast boot ups. Old HP laptop had a lot of software and background processes running (for work) so it was crawling, crashing and I was cursing ; Imaged old hard drive to new using Linux boot disk and dongle ; Handles everything I throw at it. No...

Could be cheaper. I paid $104.99 in Nov 2013

Does the job.

SSD's are really nice if you can afford the larger capacity drives.

Works as advertised. OS boots up under 12 seconds

Price vs Storage space - this includes all SSD's ; 120GB is just not enough storage space period. If you are on a budget save up some more money until you can afford more storage capacity

Very fast and budget ssd that I installed in my older ThinkPad T500 (Which is SATA-II) so I didn't need to buy a SATA-III one

Died in 3 months

I gave it 3 eggs instead of 1 because it was a cool, fast and quiet drive while it was still working. * I'd buy this again at the right price, but only if I can afford 2 so I can mirror the drives in case one dies again. * Don't bother emailing Mushkin...

Light Weight ; Easy to Set Up ; Comes with 3.5" Adapter Bracket ; Screaming Fast ; Runs Cool ; Completely Silent

Died in 3 Months ; Mushkin has yet to answer any of my emails

Won't install Windows 7

There is nothing wrong with the drive as I have even formatted it to NTFS and have been using it as a secondary drive just fine alongside other drives running Windows 7 and Ubuntu but when I unplugged all drives and only left this one to try to install...

price ; speed is reasonable for the price

Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1 installer does not recognize it ; Tried to call support, waited for 27 minutes and then they just hung up on me
