new egg was great at sending the first one back had to RMA it sent me a return label and the 2nd one was easy to send back again they sent me a return label and I ask if I could get store credit they gave it to me 5 eggs for new egg this is why I like...

its a nice drive looks great the lights are a big help to let you know there is a problem with it when the first one did work it was really really fast to bad it did not last

it is Refurbished went though 2 of them in 3 weeks it showed all four drive . then started to load win 7 and it froze up rebooted and when it got to the raid window it showed only 3 drives. started to see if I could load on to the 3 and it locked up...

This drive is much slower than I expected, but to be fair, I think I need to check my MB settings. 509 on AS SSD.

Solid drive, plugged into the PCI slot

Really hard to setup, it is a raid card with 4 51GB partitions, had to spend several hours to figure out how to get it to use all of the drive as one ; The Newegg shipping, fast out of the gate, but would like a choice of shippers when upgrading to 3...

Nice and Fast

As fast as advertised, low power usage, FUN

Warrenty should be at least 90 days

Not so good

OCZ tech support is easy to work with.

I did not even finish installing the drivers for my motherboard and this drive froze then a red LED turned on. After talking to OCZ tech they told me that the red light meant it was a faulty drive

I usually have good luck with refurbs but not this time

Bad write speeds

too expensive for the throughput imo

Read speeds are good. Easy to install

I get write speeds about the same as a 7200 RPM raid 1 set. Reads are of course great

9 months here's what I found

Just 3 years ago, I would have never thought this kind of performance was possible, let alone available for purchase by the civilian population. This is something straight out of the future. Just like a SciFi computer drive! Simply amazing product.

Super high OCZ build quality. Blazingly fast. Never had any heat issues at all. Boot up and close down in Win 7 is remarkably fast and makes complete reboots in under one minute ; OCZ provides well designed firmware upgrade tools ; The OCZ support...

Have had annoying need for chkdsk repair of orphaned files. Can't determine yet if it is the drive or Windows acting senile

Do not buy this product

Its not worth it. Get 2 x regular SSDs put them in RAID and get similar performance without the aggrovation

Nice packaging

This product should never have been released. I read about the high failure rate online but took a chance because its the only pci-e SDD on the market. It arrived DOA (red fault light was on from the second I booted the device) OCZ must have terrible...

This Thing Rocks

As ED2KSR had mentioned, you will have trouble with stuttering, slow application installs and a low sub score if you don't turn off write-cache buffer flushing in the policies section of the disk properties.

Very Fast, Extremely Fast, Outrageously Fast. Did I mention it was fast

I little difficult to install. Need to download drivers from OCZ website. Not compatible with many motherboards ; You might have data loss if you lose power because you have to turn off write-cache buffer flushing

Smoking Fast, No issues here.

My install worked perfectly (GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3). I had no other drives attached during install and both SATA controllers were defaulted to IDE. I didn't have to do anything that they mentioned in the OCZ install guide thread. I installed via DVD...

1.) Clean install for me (Boot for Windows 7) ; 2.) Not very much fussing (Simple driver install on setup and disable windows write cache for full speed) ; 3.) Smoking fast (After Clean install, Random W/R of 612/520 and Seq W/R of 798/676)

1.) Price is a little high but worth it ; 2.) Had a E9 Error during the first boot, but went away and hasn't returned, even during a 20 hours stress test

Enthusiast-Level Performance

Cannot get my WEI to 7.9, feeling quite stupid for this.

If you have programs which demand high I/O speed, this is the drive for any performance enthusiast. But, as I said, this drive is for enthusiasts only. There is no practical use for such a fast drive at its current cost. Side note: I bought it when it...

Much of the performance claims are based on uncompressable data. 80-90% of data on your computer is compressible so real time performance will not be as impressive as 700mbps read speeds. You HAVE to optimize Windows settings around this drive. I won't...
