For those that have been wondering if the CC-690 v5 is a worthwhile upgrade over the CC-590 v5, the answer is a resounding YES!

Top notch centre that really anchors the cinematic experience

Relatively large and needs decent amplification to really shine

Rich deep bass with clear mid's and outstanding highs.....doesn't get much better than the CC-690 for the price.

The three way design, Asthetics, Piano Black is spectacular to see

Attachement feet could be something other than plastic

It's spectacular the way it brings the vocal sound track to life. If movies are your thing than its a great investment considering the amount of work your centre channel does. At nearly 32kg make sure your stand/shelf/cabinet is up to scratch.

Matched up with my studio 100's gives better that cinema quality sound, definition and sound stage are superb if you want that sense of grandeur for your home cinema you cant go wrong with the CC-690

That you cant take the grill off... not that it doesn't come off just that you find your self looking at it instead of the movie :)

Rich deep bass, clear mid's & precision high frequency response is what I'd been searching for and found with

The three way design of the CC-690 is perfect, no loss in dialog what so ever

Absolutely no con's with it except for the plastic attachment's (feet)

This is one massive center speaker built like a tank performance is off the chain. To all paradigms lovers a must have trust me,,,,And the rosenut color is beautiful, Once again stunning sound,,, This center speaker is paired up with its big brother...

Built like a tank sound preformance ,one word AWESOME,, truely one of the best center speakers out

None what so ever, cant find one thing bad about this center speaker

Paradigm Studio CC-690 v.5 - null

I fell in love with the Paradigm Reference Studio cc-690 v5 centre speaker immediately after I demoed it in my local AV shop. I just had to bring it home with me.

Great sound, affordable, comes in various finishes

None so far. It has exceeded my expectations in a centre speaker
