Sharp HT-SB400 review

A good quality soundbar but it lacks a dedicated subwoofer

Slim design for easy wall-mounting ; Astonishingly loud and clear dialogue ; Nice remote control

No digital inputs ; Lack of bass without adding subwoofer

Sharp HT-SB400 soundbar

This soundbar boosts Sharp LCD televisions' audio with clear treble and warm mid-range

Clear and detailed sound quality, compact package, centre channel for dialogue

Lacks lower bass response, no digital audio input

Sharp HT-SB400

A small system makes a huge difference in sound but not comparable with Dolby digital quality. Fantastic design and I liked the touch screen besides remote function. Other welcome features include low power consumption both on active and standby, and...

The soundbar is 3.1 system but it is hard to differentiate 2.1 and 3.1 sound production
