DisplayLink works great

I use this with 4 Asus PA248Q's and a Lenovo Thinkpad Twist with Windows 8.1 Pro. Two monitors are connected to the DisplayPort and HDMI connectors on the laptop. The other two are connected to this device. It works are intended. Indistinguishable from...

Not a great experience

Installation was easy, and it DOES work, just with some caveats.

Port replicator as opposed to just a USB hub. Great for hooking up everything BUT dual displays using DVI

CRAZY lag when using it to project onto 2 1080p displays using DVI. I'm using a Lenovo Yoga i7-3537U, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and before using this port replicator I had only one external monitor hooked up (so laptop display plus 1080p external monitor...

High Hopes, Endless Frustration

This device may work better on other systems, especially ones without the optional video card and using only a single display. I did try it briefly on an older Toshiba notebook with only USB 2 and only one external monitor and there seemed to be fewer...

A good idea, if only it worked

My experience using the USB 3.0 dock with a Thinkpad T430 has been very frustrating and my advice is to avoid it. My experience with Lenovo customer service has been even more frustrating ; The dock requires installing proprietary software that seems...

Very Disappointed

I'm very disappointed with this dock. The only thing it actually does is to allow me to use a larger external monitor. It will not allow me to access my network via my network cable--I have to plug in directly to my Ultrabook. Also, it will not allow...

Very Good

I am writing the review to comment on others who have experienced erratic mouse movement when using wireless devices. I too had some erratic motion with my Bluetooth adapter. It appears to be some interference with the wireless radio of the usb dongle....

Be Aware

This dock will not work with an Idea Pad laptop. I just purchased a new Idea Pad and this dock. What was really frustrating was the technical support contacts, both Idea Pad and Think Pad said it was the other sections problem. I spent 2+ frustrating...

Power Features Disappointing

Lenovo labels this as a dock. I think it's more like a port replicator. This unit does not offer the ease of use and convenience that a dock does: 1) undock with a push of a button, 2) power on without having to open the laptop, 3) pass through AC...

Wireless USB 2.0 devices don't work very well

I have an X1 Carbon with this USB 3.0 Dock. My wired devices (headsets, keyboards, mouse) all work but when I connect my Logitech MX550 combo keyboard/mouse, all I get is erratic behavior from both. I connect the wireless adaptor to the laptop and they...

great in theory

We have a couple of them for users in my company and they worked great for a month or 2. They proved to be extremely convenient in supplementing the lack of usb ports on the Lenovo Carbon X1's we have. I would love to see more accessories like this...
