Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME176CX)

The Asus MeMO Pad 7 is a bit thinner and lighter than most budget-friendly Android tablets, but some competitors offer better overall value.

Compact and well-built. Affordable. Runs Android 4.4.2

No 5GHz Wi-Fi. Some bloatware

There's an absolute abundance of inexpensive small-screen Android tablets right now—tablets that lack pizazz, but get the job done and come in at well under $200. The Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME176CX) enters this fiercely competitive market, armed with a...

Asus Memo Pad 7 ME176CX review

The same price as a Tesco Hudl, but slimmer, lighter and much faster: it's an outright bargain

good little tablet

bought this for my 4 year old autistic son.

excellent tablet for the price. doesn't start crashing/slowing/hanging until you have 20+ apps running. Handles videos well. Asus keeps it updated pretty well. after a year of heavy use battery life is about 4 hrs watching videos and 20~ apps active.

the sd slot caused it to overheat when sd card was inserted. it took some effort to get sd card to work, but was able to do it. cheap plastic back will chip/crack if dropped.

Good little tablet that could

-I would buy this tablet all over again if given the choices I was given when it was purchased. It's a good tablet, it's not as powerful as some of the more expensive ones, but if you're like me you are looking for something that doesn't need to be...

-Easy to use, especially if you're familiar with the Android OS -Generally, it just works. It has its moments, see below -Beautiful tablet

-Comes with bloatware that you cannot completely remove, but to my understanding this is true for all tablets? -If you don't use CleanMaster (a cleaning utility that comes with the tablet's OS) regularly, you will notice the RAM gets eaten quickly, and...

Okay, but that's it. Nowhere near "perfect".

I'm gonna say flat out, don't buy this if you expect more than a few months of this thing performing at its best. If you're an owner longer than I and it still works fine for you, I don't know what wizardry you have up your sleeve, but I might just...

Worked good, was fast in boot and loading apps. ZenUI hardly ever bogged down the Android interface in any noticeable way. Good feel in one handed use, and it hardly got too warm to use under load.

I was the anonymous user who posted a year back on this tablet. I said it was good enough for 5 stars. Recently, out of the blue, it failed to work. After a normal session of use over its tenure, one day I tried to boot it, and the screen flickered and...

I recommend this.

Arrived in pristine condition ; Works flawlessly. We already own 2 of this model so I knew what "like new" meant on this ; A great deal. You'd never guess it was a refurb

ASUS ME176CX-A1-WH

Used to be a great tablet

I would like to thank Asus and Google for turning a great tablet into a brick! The latest Lollipop or KitKat has now bricked not just my tablet but also my wife's ; From screen crashes to random restarts it's totally unstable. I have had to factory...
