Asus Transformer Mini T102HA Review: Light on Features, But Light on Your Wallet Too

At under two pounds and less than $400, it's as light in your bag as it is on your wallet.

Asus Transformer Mini (T102HA-D4-GR)

The Asus Transformer Mini T102HA is an excellent, though modest, small tablet that's handy to have around when you really need Windows rather than Android or iOS.

Compact and light. Comes with keyboard cover and stylus. USB 3.0 port. Fingerprint reader works with Windows Hello. Highly adjustable kickstand.

No USB-C port. Quirky keyboard. Occasionally finicky touchpad.

While it's no speed demon, the Asus Transformer Mini (T102HA-D4-GR) is an inexpensive alternative to the Microsoft Surface Pro tablets, considering that you get a keyboard cover without having to shell out an additional $129 for it. The T102HA might...

Asus Transformer Book T102HA (x5-Z8350, 4 GB, 128 GB) Convertible Review

A straightforward concept. The requirements for a convertible that functions as your daily companion are high. Apart from a fully functioning Windows operating system, performance and battery runtimes need to be good too. A bright display and solid...

IPS panel ; bright display ; good system performance ; passive cooling ; battery runtimes

no USB Type-C ; small keys ; small touchpad ; display resolution ; PWM frequency

An old and trusted concept has been implemented successfully. Asus is considered a pioneer of convertible products and has now presented us with a small 10-inch device with a Windows operating system. The case is made of high-quality material and is...

Asus Transformer Mini T102HA

When it was first released, the Microsoft Surface 3 was one of the best budget convertibles on the market. It offered a compact satchel friendly design and was an ideal companion for any avid doodler, student or tablet buyer. However, it's beginning to...

Asus Transformer Mini T102HA review

Small, portable, flexible

Easily portable ; Good battery life ; Keyboard cover included

Poor performance ; Charging via USB is slow ; Trackpad isn't very accurate

If you care more about battery life than raw power, the Asus Transformer Mini T102HA may be the Windows 10 2-in-1 convertible for you.

Flexible ; Solid, compact keyboard ; Great battery life ; Stylus ; Range of ports

Limited performance ; Low-res screen

The Transformer Mini T102HA is another fine convertible tablet, offering solid value for money. More demanding users might be disappointed by the low screen resolution and the basic performance, but the strong versatility is enticing..

Asus Transformer Mini T102HA review

If your budget won't stretch to a Microsoft Surface, the Transformer is a decent alternative. However, don't expect great performance. Here's our Asus Transformer Mini T102HA review

Buyers are likely to either love the Asus Transformer Mini T102HA or be disappointed in it. Its highs and lows are marked. Don’t expect the quality of the Surface Pro 4 for less than half the price. While build isn’t dramatically reduced, general...

Asus Transformer Mini review: A portable 10.1in Windows 10 laptop that takes on the Surface 3

Has Asus cracked the code for ultraportable 2-in-1 laptops with the Transformer Mini?

Lightweight ; Pressure sensitive stylus included ; Incredible battery life

Flimsy kickstand ; Sluggish performance ; Inconsistent trackpad

Asus Transformer Mini review: This 2-in-1 delivers good-enough computing on the cheap

Buying a cheaper Windows tablet always means answering the same question: Can I do as much as I want while still paying less? In the case of the $399 Asus Transformer Mini (T102HA), the answer is yes, but just barely.
