Toaster burns the toast on the bottom of every slice of bread (about 1/2" strip). NO lower setting will help which if you get a light brown toast overall you will end up with horribly burnt toast on the bottom edge. Bad design of burner is my guess. ...

I nevew had a a chance to use the toaster because as I unpacked it, the plastic push handle broke from the metal lever. I dont believe it was damaged in transit - I believe this to be of junk quality.
