Vizio offers the best LED TV value of the year

Very good picture quality at a bargain price is a rare find among today's LED TVs, but Vizio's M3D0KD series delivers.

The ; produces some of the deepest black levels and most accurate color of any LED TV this year, and does it for a bargain price. Its passive TV was brighter than many active sets and virtually crosstalk-free. The Smart TV suite has plenty of content...

Variable black levels, blooming, and lackluster video processing hurt the Vizio's picture quality to some extent. Its passive 3D showed occasional artifacts and moving lines. The TV's design is ho-hum.

Very good picture quality and an extremely aggressive price make the Vizio M3D0KD one of the best LED TV values on the market.

Vizio M3D550KD

The Vizio M3D550KD packs plenty of features and very accurate colors into an under-$1,500 55-inch 3D HDTV.

Inexpensive. Full-featured. Excellent color and contrast.

Not terribly energy efficient for an LED-backlit set.

Vizio M3D550KD

Vizio strikes again with a low-priced, well-equipped edge-lit LED HDTV. It has many useful features and a much, much lower price tag than previous models. Its 3D isn't quite as crisp as with some active 3D HDTVs, but considering everything you get for...

Vizio M3D550KD 55-Inch Internet TV

We would never have guessed the Vizio M3D550KD cost less than $1,000. This ultra-thin big screen offers good picture quality and a full QWERTY keyboard built into the remote for easy navigation, making it one of the best 55-inch values on the market.

"This HDTV delivers excellent picture quality"

I am an electronic sales and I highly recommend this HDTV if you planning to playing video games or watch movie during daytime or nighttime. Also, feel free to check out %s for information on what best HDTV to get this year.

I like the picture quality and very good dark level. Performs perfect during both daytime and nighttime.

Can't really think of one. If I have to say one then maybe sound quality is not as good as home theater system. The silver stand looks a bit annoying.

"Hands down, the best TV at this price point!"

Let me start off by giving you some background. I have owned 3 Sony HDTV's since 2006. The first was a rear projection LCD model that I purchased for about $3800 in mid-2006 and had a design defect with something called the "optic block" that ended up...

"This is THE TV to be beat at this price!"

Using on-screen menu will program remote to control other devices based on input. Comes with 4 "cheapy" glasses but do their job just fine and fit over my prescription glasses. TV won't do 2D to 3D conversion but that keeps the price down and if needed...

Excellent black levels! Color appears uniform and realistic. LED edge-lit adds longevity to TV as well as slim profile and weight loss. Qwerty keyboard. WIFI built-in, lot's of App choices, and 3D capable! Overscan adjustment capability.

Slightly laggy smart dimming. No swivel base. No coaxial digital output only Toslink optical and 1/8" headphone style output (needed coaxial for my setup). No S-video input(useless for most people today but still a "con" for me.
