Stylish TV. Great picture with HD not so good with SD. Sound quality poor, have bought soundbar which matches TV.

Depth of TV due to Full LED backlighting.

The picture quality is very impressive! I was very pleased with this TV and other people of have seen my TV has also commented on how good the quality is.

Sound volume is quite bad. If you have guests round the house who are talking, you won't be able to hear the TV without putting it at nearly maximum volume! However it is fine for everyday use. I am currently considering whether to buy surround sound...

Great Value LED TV with crisp pictures, really slim design.

Looks smart, great picture - sharp, bright colours. Especially good with with Sky+HD of course, and also with Playstation games.

Really bad quality sound - thin and tinny, like you'd get from a cheap portable radio. You'll need to use external speakers or a home cinema system. The 100Hz refresh rate makes no difference at all.

Nice design, excellent picture once you have adjusted settings to your own requirements. Lots of different input connections and packed with great features. Very very pleased with the TV.

The sound is not great from the built in speakers, although this was never a concern when buying the TV as I run sound through a separate amp, so not an issue for me.

Poor SD picture although maybe due to signal rather than tv (see HD comment in "good points") Motion blur noticable so not great for action or sports Banding noticable on light backgrounds when panning horizontally Dark corners where screen uniformity...

Sharp LC46LU700E

The picture quality is excellent and far better than I expected, there are plenty of connection options and enough HDMI ports for any household.

The major problem with this TV is the sound quality, the bass is none existent and although I have increased the bass level to max it still sounds very tinny, the only option is to buy a separate surround sound system. The TV is not as user friendly as...
