LG's mid-range LS5700 offers the same great smart features for less.

Simply put, this is a great smart TV for less.

LG 55LM5700 Review – 55-inch LED LCD HDTV

LG has launched the non-3D LED TV model with the biggest screen size of the 55 inches. The TV set allows users to access a wide variety of online and offline digital content in addition to the normal television programs and shows. It comes with the...

The model also allows you to access your offline collection of movies, music, videos and photos stored on various types of digital devices and discs. You can connect a Blu-ray player to the TV set and access the digital content stored on the CDs, DVDs...

LG 42LM5700 Review – 42-inch LED LCD HDTV

LG has designed the TV set without including passive 3D technology support. The model also does not sport the ultra-slick bezel design sported by other TV sets launched by the manufacturer. But LG has integrated the Smart TV feature with the model to...

The model also comes with LG Smart TV integration to allow users to access a variety of online applications, movies, music, videos and photos. But it does not support the Google TV features and also does not include the Flash and HTML 5 compatible web...

LG 42LS5700

The LG 42LS5700 provides a smooth picture and easy remote control navigation. It's simple to buy apps, and you can organize them on your dashboard by dragging and dropping them with the Magic Motion remote. You can browse many websites and access...

This smart TV allows you to browse countless websites, watch movies, play games and enjoy TV programming

The Magic Motion remote doesn’t have a QWERTY keyboard; instead, it works with a built-in motion sensor

With internet access and space for about one thousand apps, this smart TV provides one of the best internet-ready TV experiences.

Defective screen.

The TV seemed excellent at first. However, after about a week of use I noticed a defect in the screen image. That is, there was a small dark spot in the upper left hand section of the screen. So, you potential buyers, please carefully check the image...

Not Bad At All

On par with Samsung and a bit cheaper. If you don't need 3D but still want a "smart" TV with apps and streaming, this is a good way to go.

I did a fair amount of research before pulling the trigger on this one. I've consistently owned Samsung products (incl. TVs and Blu-Ray players) for a while now, but ultimately went for this LG instead of the Samsung equivalent because the price was...

A few others complain about the magic remote. If you don't like point-and-click menus, then you'll hate the remote ; TruMotion is a bit gimmicky. I personally find it distracting, and until LG's latest firmware update, you couldn't turn it off. It's...

Great TV, horrible remote

As always, great price and superfast shipping from Newegg. -1 star for the frustrating remote.

Excellent picture, great contrast. Bought and returned a few TVs and this had the best picture for the price. Streaming via LAN and wifi works great

Remote is terrible. Bump it and the pointer appears onscreen along with channel/input info bar. Input lag w/ internet apps is beyond annoying - ROKU is infinitely easier to use. Why they chose to cripple this great TV with such a poorly designed input...
