There are big HDTVs and then there is the WD-92840 3D HDTV from Mitsubishi. 92 inches of rear-projection 3D DLP glory. When you are this big, they call you "Mister."

Totally Awesome Experience !!

 

We just got a UPS / Surge Protector to help in case of brown outs or outage. DLP's need to run the Fan to cool the lamp @ poer down. Outages can shorten life or your DLP TV If you understand DLP technology, you will Love this TV

Size, Picture Quality + End of Year price.. Mitsubishi WD-92840 delivers incredible picture , i compared it to Sharp 80" & the Mits performance just blew it away!! & it's a exceptional value, and completely defines the large screen entertainment...

Comes in a very large box, the 2 delivery men unboxed it on the front porch, got it in the house. Took a breather then the real work of getting it to the basement, boy did they struggle Very Carefull though, Thanks Guys!!

92 INCHES!!!

 

The box this thing comes in, is HUGE. I had to unbox the TV in order to fit it into the front door of my house. (You may need to do the same.) I stongly reccomend getting a battery backup for this. I'm not very comfortable with the 2 prong power...

92 INCHES!!! Very affordable, considering what it is. Built in surround sound speaker bar is much more impressive than expected. No base, but still quite good. (Most people would probably still prefer an external sound system though) Great sharp...

Switching in and out of 3D mode requires going into the main menu. (A simple "Toggle 3D" button on the remote would be way better) Screen is pretty glossy, and catches a lot of glare, depending on the environment. Power cord does not have a ground....

The Best Hands Down

 

I own the 65 Mitsubishi along with LCD's and LED's , the DLP surpases the LCD's and the LED's hands down... The only reason I own the LCD's and the LED is Mitsubishi doesn't make smaller versions... Picture is great from all angles close and far. Not...

Two year bulb life which I can live with. The replacement bulbs are around $100. on the 65 inch model. It's very easy to replace the buld yourself with just a screw driver anyone can do it...

EXCELLENCE AT IT"S PRIME

 

Extremety ligh weight for ist size, and if you willing to invest in this for you and your family entertainment benefit, make sure that you invest in a decent (at leat) sound system.

In my opinion, DLP thechnology is the best when it comes to big screen TV, The image quality is unbelievably awesome. No LCT or LED or Plasma can dare to compare.

we you will have to replace the land once avery two years to keep the original image quality

SO BIG - Maybe not big enough!

 

THIS THING IS HUGE! I was able to invite over my work associate to watch some of the "itchy and scratchy" with me.. I believe his name was Homer Simpsons from sector 7G.. The screen held up wonderfully and my episodes of the early 1900's black and...

Oh, the foul stench of youth! I can't stand the smell of young folks. This thing was NOT BIG ENOUGH!! Besides, that Homer Simpson character overstayed his welcome lounging around, eating my cocktails and drinking my fine imported beer!
