Perfection

I would buy this TV over and over and over. Don't think it's low on quality because it's low in price. This TV is eggcellent.

Very inexpensive and quick delivery. The picture on it is great, no dead pixels. Standard def TV even looks good. I have it as my computer monitor running 1920x1080 resolution and it is breathtaking. Playing 360 on it is amazing

It's heavy, but who cares? With another person helping you move it, it's not bad at all

heavy protective steel frame backing is surely superior to plastic. you don't move this ofter, so weight matters only for moving.

worked out of the box: needed no color adjustments. not tested for HDCP capability due to lack of appropriate blu-ray dvd drive. works as plug & play monitor detected by 2005 vintage ATI radeon X300 graphics card of PC at resolution of 1920x1080 on VGA...

no manual control buttons: you are entirely reliant on the remote control. it has only 1 switch at the pack: power on/off. what if it dies or is smashed? extremely heavy: box says net weight ~150 pounds. weight due to massive protective steel backing....

Great TV, excellent price

If you're trying to decide between this set and a 47" go with this one, I really can't tell much difference between this set and the "bigger" name brands when it comes to picture quality. (Olevia actually gets a lot of their panels from Sharp and LG.)

Really great picture quality, both digital cable HD channels and upscaled DVD's look great on this set. Over the air HD stations look even better with a $40 antenna! Also, the enclosure for this TV is one of the sleekest and lowest profile I've seen

It is rather heavy, but then its 52 inches! Some might be bothered by the lack of universal remote codes (get a learning remote!)

Great TV, Great Price

When I got the TV the base was warped. It would rock a half inch in either direction. This wasn't a problem for me cause I mounted it on the wall.

Has PC input which was important to me ; No Dead Pixels ; Nice Contrast ; Has a lot of features ; HD looks great

None right now

Great price, bad TV

Great price, excellent service from both Newegg.com and the delivery company

This TV produces a poor piture with painful viewing angles. As always you get what you pay for. I suggest you pay the extra $400 and get a TV you will be happy with. In the end the extra money won't matter, but being annoyed by the TV you just bought...

Good TV for the money

All in all the TV is a real good bargin. Just be aware that the best picture only comes with some figiting in the menu systems. I would have liked to have seen some connectors on the front but that is not a big deal. When set up correctly this TV is...

the TV was just about the least expensive 1080P LCD in this size. I find that the picture is great when you choose the 5600K option for color. Once set up the picture is like being there

the manual that comes with the TV does not explain all the features to my satisfaction. If you do not set up each input you will be dissatisfied with the picture quality. that being said, if you do not understand HD technology the picture will be dark...

Olevia 52" - Very Happy

Great TV. Great value. Great price on warranty through newegg. Very pleased with this decision. Wife thinks I am brilliant for finding such a large TV with such an awesome picture for so reasonable a price! Got a 3 shelf stand with post that suspends...

Ordered Mon, arrived on Thurs in perfect cond. Wife tipped driver to get him to bring inside (cold out). Allowed to warm to room temperature, connected to standard def(SD) DirectTV. One dead pixel. Can only see it from very close with blank screen....

Heavy! Delivery guy even commented on how it was the heaviest TV he had delivered. Blacks not as dark as the best LCD TVs. Some gray pixelation in dark shadows with SD. Have not noticed this in HD. This does not detract from viewing pleasure

Olevia 52" LCD Purchase

I was skeptical about a 52" LCD Flat Screen TV under $2999. I took what turned out to be a winning risk on this purchase. Not only was I blown away with the 1080 resolution but the housing is actually very attractive and comparable to the much more...

I purchased March 7th and received March 12th excellent delivery time. Product arrived more quickly than expected. Controls clearly marked and connection was a breeze. Wonderful addition to our family room

Manual on disk. Hard copy would have been more user friendly. Onscreen menu takes some getting use to. Email notification for the tracking of the order would have been a plus

Super value!

No, the contrast ratio specified is not as high as other LCDs, but you just do not notice and appreciate this unless you are viewing in a dark room and are comparing another LCD to it of better contrast. So, contrast ratio is just not important. What...

Excellent value for a 52"" LCD at 1080p. No dead pixels, yet. Good cabinet quality. Very nice LCD image.

Small setup menu graphics. Remote codes not known or found for my DISH HD box. The power consumption spec is 325 W, seems very high. 200 W would make me happy.
