While the large multitouch click pad is the same size as a MacBook Pro's, it's not as responsive. This pricey laptop also lacks Blu-ray and a 1080p screen.

Samsung's Series 7 Chronos 700Z5A-S03 is the closest Windows equivalent to a MacBook Pro in terms of specs, power, and design and even nearly matches on battery life, but it's $500 less expensive than an entry-level Apple 15-incher.

"nice looking, keyboard and battery life"

 

I have had this 700z5b a year now and it just keep getting worse! Am finally going to give up and buy a replacement. If you want an attractive laptop to carry around, and dont expect it to work - this machine is perfect for that.

This laptop simply didn't work. The hard drive has been replaced, the operating system wiped clean, and it still won't work. The worst part is not that I've wasted countless hours and dollars on this defective product. The worst part is that Samsung...

When the laptop is working, it's a great laptop.

This laptop simply doesn't work. Even after the operating system was rebuilt and the hard drive was replaced, the laptop freezes up every 2 to 3 hours. It's simply unusable.

Blazingly fast. Great Screen. Easy and comfortable keyboard, that also comes with a number pad. Aluminum chassis. Did I mention its really fast?

The touchpad needs improvement. It is pretty jumpy, which lends itself to some difficulty in scrolling. Occasionally when I click on an icon the cursor will jump out off icon. But I just use an external mouse anyway, so its not a major concern.

"The best thing with useless trackpad"

 

The trackpad kills everything - is useless and buggy. Buttons won't work if touch is not detected! But if touch is detected, the cursor jumps somewhere... These(Sansung) guys need to work on drivers. I will be returning this great unit back to BestBuy...
