Sharp Aquos LC52PD7X

The LC52PD7X is a 52in LCD TV with a native resolution of 1920x1080. It offers exceptional image quality across a wide range of input modes and a new ...

Excellent image quality at 1080p and high definition modes, Good standard definition scaling, Superb PC mode, Wide range of connection options, Attractive Design

Some minor pixelation during 720p gaming, Images were too dark at times

The LC52PD7X is an excellent LCD TV for those wishing to enter the world of 1080p and high definition content. Its price tag is high, but if you have the cash to spend, you won't be disappointed.

Sharp has ticked all the boxes for launching a seriously tantalising LCD offering, including larger size options, HD tuners, 1080p resolution and a stylish design.

JB HiFi are now listing the LC42PD7X at a list price *under* $2700! - That's extremely difficult to go past, esp in competition with relatively cheap Samsung LA40N series. Sony Bravia 40" doesn't cut it against those two

Sharp Aquos LC-52PD7X

bought a LC42PD7X last week and i have to say the picture is quite amazing. i've had to change the picture levels quite a bit to suit my taste - the initial reds in the screen were way too bright.

Awesome picture, good price for 1080p resolution - $3200 at jb hifi. Very happy customer

Although the panel looks good from the front, it seems quite ugly and thick from the side. They should have continued the shiny black finish around the sides like samsung has done

Sharp Aquos LC-52PD7X

Bought a Sharp LCD TV recently and have had nothing but headaches. If you've got problems with powerpack buzzing and live in Australia, don't bother with Sharp warranty - RETURN IT AND GET MONEY BACK ASAP. Otherwise, you could be waiting for months...

Good when it works

Lousy build quality, powerpack fizzes and warranty support sucks

I paid alot less than what is being mentioned on these pages for the 46". Closer to $4600 which I was pretty happy with.

Certainly more presentable in its sleek black than some of the other silver shapes of other brands

I'm alittle disappointed that the audio on the 46" doesn't have much depth and sounds abit "tinny". Do I have some setting on the audio wrong

The TV sounds great, but why do manufacturers make us pay thru the nose here in Aus compared to US - For example the 1080p Aquos 46" model is $US2520 at the moment on bestbuy.com, thats $A3168. Cmpare that with ~$7499 here!!. Its outrageous.

Nice

Cannot believe how badly we get ripped off here in Aus
