Vizio's big-time LED TV value

The Vizio E701i-A3 is the best value yet among 70-inch LED TVs.

The Vizio E701i-A3 is an outstanding value as the least expensive LED TV of its size that also offers Smart TV. Its picture boasts highly accurate color and very good bright-room performance. Plenty of Smart TV content is on hand within a responsive...

The E1i-A3's picture can't match the black-level performance of some competing LED TVs, and suffers from some uniformity issues. Its Smart TV interface design seems a bit dated and cumbersome

Vizio E701I-A3

One thousand dollars is a sweet spot for HDTVs. When the price tag rolls over to four digits, it can be a lot harder to swallow than a product just brushing against costing a Cleveland, even if it's a big-ticket item. The Vizio E-series offers a pretty...

Inexpensive for its size. Very bright. Built-in Wi-fi

Not that energy efficient for an LED HDTV. Modest black levels. Colors run slightly cool

Vizio's E-series of LED HDTVs offer large screens with built-in Wi-Fi, plenty of online features, and good picture quality, all for a very fair price.

"Well worth the current price of 1500 dollars."

I have seen TV's in stores and other peoples houses that had what is known as the Soap opera effect. Picture quality so good it seems like live tv. I bought a plasma and other televisions and still no soap opera effect even with blue ray. I turned this...

"Sorry but I'm not impressed by the price tag."

It's cheap if that's all that matters.

You can spend a little more money and get a decent sharp.

"Great Value and Features for the Price"

I bought this TV at a higher price point and I would say its still a great value for the money. I was able to compare it side by side with other 70 TV's by Sharp and Samsung at Costco when I purchased mine. Given the price differential of the other...

Easy to navigate on screen menu system,

Viewing angle varies when viewed greater than 30 degrees off center,

"I've seen the comparisons!"

CNET's over-all rating of this 70" Vizio was pretty accurate save for the following 2 observations. While at Cotsco over the weekend I got a chance to see this set along side the 70" Sharp 6 series (non-quattron & 120hz) and Sharp's top of the line...

PRICE,PRICE, & PRICE! Great picture with "very thin bezel" for getting more tv for the money.

not a one! don't see how Vizio is able to sell such a stunningly beautiful,featured-loaded set for that price!

"Big Screen for a Great Price."

Anyone looking for a big screen TV for a great price with should look at the Vizio lineup.

Great Price, Very Good Picture Quality after adjusting settings, Great Blacks and 4 HDMI imputs.

Smart Interface seems dated but ok.

Vizio E701 Refurb - Quality Control Issues

HDMI PROBLEMS Sometimes on HDMI 1 I get picture with no audio.. I noticed the picture falling out on the HDMI 1 . I changed HDMI cables (used both with no problems for years) same problem. The picture will go black for less than a second, come back,...

Nice Picture ; Good Price

More glare than I read in review, more annoyng than on my glossy plasma ; Scratches/gouge across back of set, no big deal ; Refurb lacks quality control - 2 of the HDMI ports are flaky and PC input and RGB inputs wired in reverse

Worst experience ever.

This has been a nightmare. I bought this TV extremely excited, got it, and it had tons of white pixels on the screen. Disheartened, I went through tons of back and forth with NewEgg and their very ill-mannered third party warranty people. NewEgg...

Big/cheap/nice picture (if it wasn't fatally flawed and riddled with imperfections such as weird blotches and hot pixels)

I've had two of these sets and both have had countless hot (white) pixels that will not go away, but only grow with time ; My second set not only had more hot pixels than the first, it had two giant oblong blackish/greyish blotches on the screen
