Review: Vizio VX32L

Vizio's low-budget 32-incher falls below the $700 barrier, bestowing HD glory on the PBR crowd. After we added contrast and dimmed the backlight to correct...

Good noise reduction smooths out crappy video sources. 0 price tag could possibly cure cancer

Ugly: The LCD panel says 2007, but the thick, gray plastic case screams “1997 computer monitor

Vizio VX32LHDTV

The distinguishing feature of the Vizio VX32LHDTV is its low price ($700 as of 12/08/06)--less than half the cost of the top-performing model among currently tested 32-inch LCD TVs. And while its economy comes with a few rough edges, the set overall is...

Inexpensive

Basic design

Overall, Vizio offers a good image and lots of ports for the price. You can get better, but you'll have to pay for it

excellent picture, trash functionality

I use this as a computer monitor for gaming. everything works well for that. the remote and power button on the television are really irritating to use.

great 1080p picture ; 120Hz refresh ; sleek design

television has weak IR sensors to handle remote control input ; power button doubles as input button, if you dont hold it for exactly a second, it switches input device instead of powering down

Below average picture Lots of problems

I bought this from 1saleaday last week They advertised the A0 version but sent me the inferior A2 version Its such a pain navigating with the remote and if the tv doesnt find a signal on an input then it shuts off.

Smart TV is a good feature at this price range ; Sound is very good for a tv

Picture looks really dim.TV shuts off amost instantly when it has no signal from ant.jack or hdmi ; there is a reason these ar refurbs.look around you wont be pleased when you see the picture

Fine TV, Terrible Monitor

It seems like a perfectly fine TV, except for some backlight bleed around the edges and at wider viewing angles. However, it's a perfectly terrible computer monitors. It only works correctly over the VGA cables; the HDMI inputs don't have a "PC mode"...

Cheap ; Decent Picture ; Lots of ports

No PC support for HDMI ; Terrible colors on VGA ; Backlight bleed

Tech Support for N/A

This comment is for N/A. I have dish network and I had the noise at the top of the screen too. To fix it, you need to change the picture mode in the tv settings from Normal to Wide. No more noise at the top of the screen

Satisfied

I didn't like any of the factory color profiles and used the custom setting to reach my desired view. I also turned off that ambient light sensor and power saving feature to prevent change in the picture from auto back light management. Using this TV...

Good value at the sale price for an edge-lit LED-LCD. TV arrived looking brand new in protective film, with remote, batteries, stand, and manual. This TV is also very thin and very light. Tested all the inputs and functioning accordingly. Overall,...

Cons for me: Very short attached power cord. When watching DVDs in letterbox, there is some small backlight bleeding from the top corners. Thankfully, I don't see the bleeding when dark 1080i content is in those same corners. Tiny speakers, but they...

Great LCD

Best 32" LCD I have ever seen, sits in my room connected via 360 to media center pc, streaming video and music to the bedroom.

Crisp picture, 1080p for xbox360, digital tuner

This unit is not black it is brown with reflective gold line at base, not really a con but be sure to take this into consideration when buying

Do not hestitate, buy now

Buy now, save that 500-1000 that you would spend with another manufacturer.

Price. Picture. Durability. I use the snot out of this TV, and have been doing so for over 6 months now. The picture on the the TV is great. Since it is a 32, analog as well as digital picture cannot be beat ; I bought this TV from another major web...

Wow

No reason to wait, buy this now, cause its an awesome deal.

Awesome deal. This TV is great quality and a super steal on Newegg. Works great with 1080i inputs from Comcast digital box, and Xbox 360. We bought two and have had no problems with them

Documentation is a little poor from Vizio because it doesnt provide information about mounting standards supported
