We got this for a new start in a new and smaller house, replacing an ancient Miele Cat and Dog. I can't say I noticed any significant difference in effectiveness or the feel of using it. Does the job. Well priced. No complaints.

The suction on this unit from the moment it was unpacked is horrible - to the point I would classify it as worthless for vacuuming out the car. Had I purchased it locally I would return it for a refund. I do not recommend this vacuum.
