Nice Camera

I've had this camera since 2011 or so. It's pretty high quality picture and it has never quit working. Great for late-night sessions

None that I can see. Not PERFECT definition, but very good considering the price

Satisfactory = C

For 30$ I can't complain much but honestly I thought it would have better video quality. It is still hard to make out details, especially in darker settings. The camera picks up sound well. I honestly think for spending maybe 5-10$ a camera with...

Cheap, Morphing stand to fit any surface, Built in Mic

Lame Optional Software, Video Quality poor

Not great

Newegg was lightning fast as usual. - How did this have almost 90 reviews and get 4 eggs?

Install is simple plug and play

Chord is very short ; Supplied software is basically useless ; The method of support does not work on my Asus at all ; The image quality if fine in bright light if you sit very still. Ghosting is a real problem. There is no way it is hitting 30fps ;...

Rosewill RCM-8164 True 1.3 M Effective Pixels USB 2.0 WebCam

I would suggest paying a few bucks more for a "major brand-name" camera for video calling.

Good quality pictures ; Just worked" on Windows 7 ; Flexi rubber mounting thingy ; Mic sound quality is good

Video could be better ; Microphone is Line-In, not native over USB

Good for the PC not for the Mac

I wanted to try a different brand then Logitech and am regretting it now. I have used other Rosewill products and they work fine. This is the first regret I have had with them.

It does work but not well

Doesn't seem to function well on the Mac. It's slow and you need third party drives to help

Great, Cheap and Working!

DHL and USPS do not make a good match for the end user. Packaging was distorted, looked mangled and torn up but the contents were in good shape due to the poly-plastic shell. I would rather see free shipping applied to UPS Three Day or Ground services.

Cheap! - uPnP works as advertised. Plugged it in - Windows 7 found it and it works with no drivers! Works equally well with Linux distributions from SuSE, Ubuntu and Fedora

Shipping could have been faster with better tracking. Newegg tracking services showed it going to Auburn Washington when it was actually being delivered to Oregon

Great resolution, poorer quality

Overall a pretty good value, especially if you have a better mounting solution than the built-in stand. I'm guessing my boot issue is not a common occurrence with this product. This is the first time I've been even slightly disappointed by a Rosewill...

works great right out of the box ; amazingly clear picture quality when used with the provided software ; inexpensive

very blurry with moving objects ; flexible stand is too flexible to be useful ; cheap assembly; plastic parts occasionally pop off while handling the camera ; disagrees with my mobo; system does not post until the camera is unplugged

Does what it's intended to do

I'm not a big webcam user, but this works as advertised and installed quickly. A good purchase

Rosewill RCM-8164 True 1.3 M Effective Pixels USB 2.0 WebCam

Works well. Software and video quality is fine

The webcam ball sits way too loosely in the holder. I can't actually set this at any angle or height since the ball gets turned at the slightest tension on the USB cable. I have to use tape to set the angle so the ball won't move
