Best for a basement

We have this dehumidifier hooked up to drain right into our sump pit. It works beautifully so far, but it is definitely loud. It is clearly audible in the groundfloor rooms above the appliance. Luckily, our bedrooms are further away. Purchased this...

It is working phenomenally well at getting and keeping our 1200 square foot basement dry. We have never had a dehumidifier before and bought this one based on ratings of the previous discontinued model. It is a bit loud, but our basement is not...

We have a very 'wet' basement and we could tell the difference within one day of using the Danby dehumidifier. It's a little louder than I thought it would be but we can't hear it upstairs. You wouldn't want to use it in an area that you are using for...

Concern about dump pail

It seems to do a good job of getting the humidity out, but the dump bucket is hard to get out and in.

Danby Dehumidifier - does job well

This dehumidifier literally draws water from thin air - it does it very efficiently. After recent heavy rains our basement was damp.It rapidly mopped up the extra moisture especially after I set the humidity setting to 35% for a while.

Good Value, High Quality

Noisy, Water container
