Edgestar Sliding Door Large Window Vent Kit Extension

This was easy to install, but a little flimsy. It does not form a complete seal, there are little gaps because the panel telescopes inside itself and not all the pieces are the same width. But it works, and is more attractive than the plywood paneling...

My building has windows that swing open, not slide, so my only option is to install this in the sliding glass door. The vent kit is long enough to fit into the door opening, which is 7'8" tall.

Product is useful for sliding doors!

Disappointed that the original unit didn't come with a longer window kit which required us to order the additional kit and endure additional expense

Easy to assemble and install. Could be improved with some weather striping along edges as seal becomes more difficult with longer set-ups such as for a slider.

The window kit was very easy to use and only took a few moments to install. But..

I am using this in my home office which id ion this sunny side of the house and therefore needs more cooling than the rest of the house and the only window is a side slide type. This product made the installation much easier to accomplish.

This may be useful to aircondition a room, but don't buy it unless you are sure you need it.
