Terrible

We purchased a 8kw unit and a multi head unit, cost $11000.00, last November 2007 since then they have been broken down more than they have worked, we have had to wait for up to 4 weeks for the service man to get them going again, he calls and replaces...

When they are working they seem OK

Faulty design and not suitable for use in the tropics. If you buy one you will be stuck with a lemon.

Excellent

Sorry. Can't give an opinion as yet but rest assured I will have one to submit as an update once I have purchased a unit. It will be on the 7.1Kw unit as I believe that is the size I will require to effectively cool my house.

Haven't bought one yet but because of the above reviews I have just read, it has convinced me that the Mitsubishi is the way to go. It's a pity that the Mitsubishi can't improve our education system as effectively and cheaply as it can regulate our in...

Excellent

A worth while investment providing winter heat and summer cooling for quite a reasonable area. When its on full blow its a little hard to hear the telly over the blow noise but once it settles it becomes very reasonable.

Works a treat, even though I live in Brisbane I installed it for the heater. It warms the whole house in about 1/2 hr and is reasonably quiet. Hit the house when its 38 outside and it still cools the place down to offer relief in a short period of time.

Not too much bad I can say about it. Inverters are alittle slower to heat up than on off type units but it comes into its own once it starts to regulate temperatures

Good

Well i've only had one window unit and one other large split unit but after only 4 months it had got me rating it at 4.5 our of 5. Maybe next power bill will be different.

I read KW so i dunno what 2hp is but downstairs i have the 8Kw output MXZ32 i think that was installed just before our first baby was born and i had heart attacks thinking about the next power bill. The i noticed in the fine print on the compressor...

Really nothing. I had a mega panasonic split before (well 6.2Kw output) and it was expensive to run, noisy on the inside and noisy on the outside, compared to my Mitsu Elec (and i really wanted a Mitsu Heavy Industries but could not afford) there is no...
