Not good

 

My a/c is not even 2 yrs. old and does not work. Sharp sent an unreputable repairman and then did not stand behind it's product when the a/c could not be repaired. It also took days to get someone to call me back. I would not ever purchase another...

Worked the first summer

Fantastic COOLING but VERY Loud

 

My old Air Conditioner died on me in late August and the pickings on new A.C.'s were slim. We mostly live in a tiny 12'x17' room but there is a kitchen with a full sized oven so we needed to exceed the recommended BTUs. This A.C. is 12,000 BTUs and ...

Cools beautifully even when the outside air is cold.

Too noisy, too much light through the vent and limited aiming of the air vent.

BUYING ADVICE

accordian side pieces slide-in design, compact size, relatively inexpensive, clean styling

unbelievably loud, cheap styrofoam construction, poor water handling, flimsy air louvers
