LG HB966TZW

There isn't much that this LG won't do; easy wireless networking, excellent-quality 3D Blu-ray and wireless rear speakers make it an attractive package for under AU$1000.

Great BD picture and quality. Easy wireless connectivity. Wireless rear speakers.

Weak subwoofer. Slightly confusing menus. No musical star.

There isn’t much this LG won’t do. Easy wireless networking, excellent quality 3D Blu-ray and wireless rear speakers make it an attractive package for under a grand. Matched with an LG 3D screen, it’ll keep you entertained for hours.

No region hack

No region hack makes it harder to use especially for internet consumers. It syncs up nice with my PS3 and Xbox360. Updates take forever I'm not sure how long cause I have never been able to sit through one, I start the update then come back a day later...

It sort of worked

No region hack, long boot times

When it was working it had good sound.

It's ok.

I've owned this system for about 10 months now. At first I was quite happy with it, however, the more I used it, the more issues I began to uncover. Probably the most annoying for me is the 'crippling' of the HDMI inputs. If you connect a PS3 to the...

All in one system, less remotes!

Documentation poor, crippled HDMI's, slow, very ordinary customer support

Not perfect but good for PS3, movies

I wanted the real movie sense around sound experience so bought this. Hated it at first and was trying to to find ways to get a refund, because the default sound is tinny and has no depth, but once I played around with it enough and finally got a...

Brings out the gaming experience & adds a dimension to movies

Not a lot of power and bass in playing music
