My first Shuttle

Newegg should suggest appropriate cpu coolers as a package deal with this case or best case scenario(pun intended), include the cheap rosewill with it.

1.Very quiet, clean, and best of all small. Good design overall but this offer has some issues ; 2. 250 watt power supply actually booted with my pci express nvidia card. I was impressed. Stress testing with 3 games shows good performance so far ; 3. I...

1. No cpu cooler included means you have to buy an aftermarket one. I goofed and got one the first time that was waaay too big but finally settled on a 10 buck low profile rosewill lga775 cooler which seems to be working great, but as its my first 775,...

More dead junk

A huge percent of these arrive DOA. There's something to that. No excuses. Shuttle is worse than a hit and miss company - now it's miss most of the time. Poor bios, cheap case materials, bad drivers and bios updates, rude service. Shuttle just abuses...

None

Poor quality, Newegg ripped me off for the 4th time in 1 year. Pure junk. This has been a troublesome product. New egg should take a stand for their customers and tell Shuttle they will stop selling their products if they don't step up they quality...

Supported" memory may not work before .103 BIOS

Tried three different mainstream brands of memory before I bought Kingston 4 GB sticks off the supported memory list (I know, that was dumb), and none, including the Kingstons worked. No internal speaker means no post codes. RAM problem means no...

Small, quiet, inexpensive

Pre 103 Bios revs have very very poor memory compatibility

SG41J1 Plus Revisited

Newegg was great in guiding me through the RMA and replacement process, a procedure I rarely have to use with this excellent company. There was absolutely no hassle, and I was able to track the replacement unit through every step of the process. The...

This replacement unit has the same beauty as its defective predecessor - the one that would not fire up. The RMA'd system is perfect. It was easy to outfit with CPU, memory, and hard drives. It runs reasonably cool and is nearly silent. I am infatuated

Shuttle does not invest sufficiently in documentation: For all practical purposes, documentation barely exists. Shuttle's market could expand substantially if it would provide a manual that enables someone other than an experienced system builder to...

BEWARE!!!!!*****

Now that I am up and running (with 6 GB RAM & 64bit Windows), it runs like a champ and is quiet and cool. But totally unacceptable trouble and time spent.

Once I received 2nd box, updated/flashed the bios, all is well with the Shuttle

Wow. First bad experience with Newegg. Could blame it on Shuttle, but Newegg should have pulled this baby once they had so many DOA's. My first box was DOA. I had purchased a stick of 4GB RAM. After reading reviews, I purchased a lower density stick of...

works well I installed a wolfdale e6500 and ran it on a 1333 bus for 3.6 gig performance with no overvolt and intel heat sink. it will only post with select memory and otherwise acts doa. I bought corsair xms3 dhs 2x2 from newegg and it fired right up...

I bought 45 and 7 are faulty 84% work well

Other issue with 60 other bare bone systems On a related matter of poor quality control from Shuttle 40 of 60 of my SS51G 2003 models shuttles power supplies failed. Some gave off a loud exploding sound some popped quietly, all smelled quite bad, and...

2 * insted of 1 * because the units that work so far work well and are priced competitively. Due to the high failure rate I would say that this product is not worth risking to buy ; I have been juggling a need of 105 computers with the use of shuttles...

The problem ; 7 out of 45 SG41J1 PLUS systems eventually fail with a jittery cracked look in the screen. Failure rate seems to happen sooner when in use. Failure has happened during windows installation, in the night, 1-5 days later. I tried all within...

MOBO still works after 2 months

This shuttle case is of poor quality steel and construction. After 2 months in a dry indoors environment the Steel rail that holds up the PSU already has corrosion on the edges. The manufacturer that shuttle used to make these cases failed to properly...
