It has an awesome sound quality and great bass and was what I would consider to be an inexpensive price tag. It DOES do tape to tape recording unlike the other review sates.

Nice design with illumination.

Only ha a single deck tape player, so you cannot record tape to tape. Speakers sound very flat, without much high or low tones. Will not play music recored on CDRW disks unlike my older Phillips stereo.
