I have used this microscope to view the sharpened surface of a knife edge. It does a good job of showing the condition of the surface.

When it was advertised as having different settings, as in 30x 50x or 150x you would think that the scope had different settings that you could change but it does not. You have to move the scope closer-farther away from the subject to achieve this.

Used to examine plant products. Nothing all that great about the product. It is fairly usable but difficult to focus. Also does sort of a blinking thing, off and on.

Great desktop microscope, good quality construction, easy to use.
