Kowa BD-XD 8x32 DCF Binoculars

Generally excellent image with no apparent aberrations and excellent colour correction. Nice and compact. Great close focus, unlike the 42's.

A little fussy about eye alignment, especially with glasses. Adjustable eyecups slightly higher on one side possibly not helping. Great once you have them set to your liking.

The size and weight give a feeling of being substantial and of good quality. The build is also excellent.

Being new, the focus adjustment is a little stiff - that is a very minor niggle. I only mention it because I really can't find anything to complain about! Perhaps the case could be better?
