My wife and I have been looking for a little CD player for our baby's room. Surprisingly, there aren't many choices that aren't for iPod players or that are too big. So we finally found this cute little white boombox at Sears.

I thought this CD boombox would be accumulating dust because it was so affordable. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the feautures: it actually has great AM reception for the station I love,you can plug in your iPod, plus it plays not just CDs...

Worked great until the CD player conked out after a few months of use.

The CD player stopped working after only 4 months. The radio works fine. Poor quality.

After 8 months of use the CD part started having short blank spots while playing, like it was skipping. Tried different CD's. I would think it should have lasted more than 8 months. AM & FM part works great.

I got this for my 7 year old and it works for him. It is not heavy at all and he carts it around. Very easy for him to use also. He loves it.
