The BoomBlaster RV-NB70B is big, bold and brash, but we wish that it was ever so slightly better built.

Deep bass tones ; Variety of inputs, including iPod, USB and Guitar Video output

Huge bass control only has six level settings ; iPod cover falls open too easily ; No DAB+ compatibility

"Less appealing than the Competition"

 

Great that companies are putting these things out - but the JVC model can't compare to the Altec Lansing model from last year. Plus, the altec is AU$299 delivered from DSe atm, compared to this $450 beast.

More iPhone/iPod centric boomboxes should be on the market

Flimsier and lower quality than the Altec Lansing alternative
