DXG A80V HD Camcorder

Though the zoom was fairly poor on this HD camcorder, the quality of the photos taken outdoors was great during testing. The camera is also relatively compact. dxgusa.com. Features: 5x optical zoom, 1080i video resolution.Electronic image stability,...

OK Video Bad Audio

A friend used this camera and was able to import and edit in FCP without any problems. I however could not. I had to use MPeg streamclip to convert these h.264 .mov files into h.264 .mov files and then it worked fine. I'm not sure why my FCP didn't...

Pretty good video quality. I just shot a 10 minute (post edited) movie using this camera and the video came out ok. I used 720p/60fps settings and used FCP to edit the movie

There's no optical image stabilization, the autofocus "hunts" sometimes and low-light performance is limited. However, these shortcomings seem to be par for the course with inexpensive camcorders. My only real complaints are that noises from the...

Poor, Poor, Poor!!

Save your money! I don't need the battery to tell that this is a low quality camera. DXG won't be around long and I can't imagine that their cameras will be either!

Cheap! Can't respond to the vid quality because it came missing the battery and HDMI cable

Customer Service!!!!!! Bought three weeks ago. Came missing the battery and HDMI cable. Called them and sent a copy of the receit, called back two weeks later to be told that they had no record of it (no ticket was ever started??) The second person I...
