There are some great ideas here. The G-Shot DV610's versatility is exceptional, and that low price tag makes it suitable for the kids. But that price also means cutbacks in quality, so it's unlikely to pique grown-ups' interest.

Despite not being the cheapest, this camcorder is the most basic in the test. It's a cut-down version of the G-Shot DV1110, with around half the megapixels.
