Sony DCR-TRV270

The Sony DCR-TRV270 is what i would call a somewhat sub-par camera, it costs more than other cameras in it's field and it (at least from my perspective) offers much less.

Battery life can last up to an hour and a half or so of continuous recording, and a bit more if you don’t use the LCD screen.

Canon XL2: Go PRO for less

The Canon XL2 is the pro-sumer miniDV camcorder that is most often spotted on the sets of low budget and independent films. Not because it is a cheap option, but because for a fraction of the cost of a professional rig, you can deliver the same...

JVC GR-D240: Quality comes without a price

I was never really sure if a budget camera would suit me. I'd decided I needed to change my current camera, which I bought 3yrs ago for £1200. I didn't really want to spend that much again. And at a price of a shade under £200 this was a bargain. As...
