Sony HDR-CX210

Sony's HDR-CX210 camcorder comes with 8GB of integrated storage, but video performance lags behind the competition.

25x optical zoom. 8GB built-in storage.

Soft, grainy video. Mediocre low-light performance.

Conclusions With these two very similar Sony camcorders, at least the PJ200's built-in projector adds a fun way to share your images that masks many of the camera's video-quality flaws. With the CX210 you lose the projector, but gain 8GB of integrated...

Sony Handycam HDR-CX210 review: Sony Handycam HDR-CX210

Sony Handycam HDR-CX210

Sony's entry-level Handycams, the ; are small, lightweight and cheap. A captive USB cable that enables charging while connected to your computer is one of the few perks.

You can't really call the video HD quality, the camcorder feels flimsy and the lens is prone to fringing.

They're cheap and capture video, but don't buy the Sony Handycam HDR-CX190, CX200 or CX210 thinking that you're getting a great bargain on a real HD camcorder. If you're going to buy one, get the cheapest; nothing on any of these is really worth the...

Sony Handycam HDR-CX210 review

Sony's trio of entry-level camcorders -- the Handycam HDR-CX190, CX200 and CX210 -- seem amazingly, aggressively priced. But they're priced like standard-definition camcorders because they use SD-level components to produce video in HD format but not...

Awesome Camcorder!

I did not purchase from this site but wished I had because I paid $100.00 more. The Handycam has a lot of useful features that really impress me and more then that the ease of use is a big plus. The camera is smaller then it looked on the web but don't...

Works great at low light situations and takes great video and still pictures

Did not come with a case to protect the handy cam
