Samsung Galaxy Fold review

The Galaxy Fold was the "one more thing" at Samsung's MWC event this year and what a thing it was! A smartphone with a massive foldable AMOLED screen, a...

Futuristic design and a never-before-seen form factor

It feels like a concept device, and it's not a phone but a tablet-phone

The Fold is like a prototype device you can buy a few months (or years) before its completely ready and it will show you a glimpse of the future. Perfect it is not. But a perfect show off it truly is.

E-TEN glofiish X800 Review

The glofiish X800 can be considered the spiritual successor of the X500+, which was the first Pocket PC released by the Taiwanese manufacturer E-TEN to feature a VGA screen. The PDA follows the "cram-all-you-can-inside" philosophy and is clearly the...

The X800 includes some pretty good specifications. First of all, the VGA display really improves the graphics. Second, the connectivity options cover the full range. And third comes the GPS receiver to complete the picture. Other than these, the...

Unfortunately, the main improvement brought by the X800 the VGA display is also one of its biggest drawbacks. Even though the processor is a capable one, running at 500 Mhz, it simply cannot keep up, making the device act excruciatingly slow at...

E-TEN Glofiish X800 - Windows Mobile Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

HTC virtually owns the Windows Mobile Pocket PC phone market here in the US. But manufacturers like E-TEN are hot in pursuit, and E-TEN's Windows Mobile Pocket PC phones get better with every iteration. They offer a few things that competing HTC phones...

Every feature under the sun in one relatively compact and slim device. Superb GPS gets a fix relatively quickly and holds onto it, even under heavily overcast skies. The camera is quite good for still shots. Excellent multimedia performance-- handles...

Slim RAM hobbles performance at times. Poor video recording quality

The X800 is a formidable Windows Mobile Professional phone that packs every available technology and feature into a relatively portable device. Even more important, each feature works well from the excellent GPS to WiFi to Bluetooth to the autofocus...

The Glofiish X800 is a ‘bells and whistles' Windows Mobile device. While expensive, it sits at the leading edge of what can be achieved today.

E-TEN Glofiish X800 Review

One of the devices we have been testing recently is the E-Ten X800 which is stylish PDA phones running on Windows Mobile 6.

A great fully featured PDA, with the screen giving off an instant WOW factor. However we recommend you check out possible Firmware fixes to help with the performance issues we outlined in the main review.

Looks like the Eten range is set to challenge the ‘big boys’ and with the range they have now it is likely that they will fair very well, it has one or two gripes but well worth considering, and very capable.
