Google Nexus One (T-Mobile)

Google's Nexus One is a fine phone, but Google's approach to retailing and support is awful.

Fastest Android phone yet. Beautiful hardware. Super-bright screen.

No phone or in-person support. Confusing pricing and service options. No voice dialing or transcription over Bluetooth.

The Google Nexus One is the most powerful Android smartphone yet, but its software and sales strategy are geared strictly to self-supporting geeks.

Google Nexus One smartphone

In addition to its 1GHz processor and OLED display, the Google Nexus One sports a multicolour trackball, light and proximity sensors, and a 5-megapixel camera

Android 2.1, OLED screen, 1GHz CPU

Early adopters experiencing some teething issues

Google Android 2.1 represents a step forward for Google's already impressive operating system, and the Google Nexus One seems like the ideal handset to show off the new OS's skills. But early adopters have reported teething troubles, so it may be worth...

Google Nexus One

Google's Nexus One may not be the iPhone killer, but it offers a comparable alternative to Apple's smartphone.

Outstanding design. Responsive AMOLED touchscreen. Speech-to-text integration throughout. 4GB memory card in the box.

Disappointing battery life. Apps still install to internal memory rather than expanded memory.

Google's Nexus One may not be the iPhone killer, but it offers a comparable alternative to Apple's smartphone, with excellent performance and a suite of innovative and useful applications.

Google Nexus One smartphone

Is the hype warranted for the hotly anticipated Google smartphone?

Great design, build quality, excellent display, fast, removable battery, Android 2.1 feels polished, updated home screen

No advanced audio/multimedia options, touch keys not always responsive, screen hard to see in sunlight

The Nexus One smartphone isn't as revolutionary as Google might have you believe, but it remains an excellent smartphone regardless. The Android platform is only going to get better and the Nexus One's excellent display and sleek hardware are a winning...

Google Nexus One

Great phone, easy to set up, easy to use, easy to download apps. Battery life depends on how much you use it. Love the wifi!

The may be 5 mega pixels but clarity is not the best.

Google Nexus One

Great interface, great speed, great apps. No complaints at all.

Expensive and many of the data plans that go with it are more expensive than the phone.

Google Nexus One

The best smart phone in the market.

No bas points. I'm also a user of I-phone and the Nexus outgun it.

Google Nexus One

Brilliant screen, fast internet connection, if you're a gmail user all your contacts and emails are waiting for you from the start! Apps for Android are plentiful (who needs 100k?). Good ergonomic design. Same dimensions as the iPhone so fits the same...

As expected, the screen eats up the power. With constant use, the unit needs charging every couple of days. Expensive if you buy it outright (ie PAYG).
