Blackview BV9200 review

Although rugged phones are out of fashion these days, a few smartphone makers are still catering to this niche market segment, Blackview being one of...

Rugged design, IP69K, shock-proof and drop-tested up to 1.8m height.

FM radio requires USB-C headphones to run, and they are not included.

So at the end of the day, the BV9200 is a well-balanced rugged phone that implements many of the essential 2023 features without breaking the bank.

HP iPAQ 51X Voice Messenger

HP's first iPaq to look like a regular phone is the first with built-in Wi-Fi.

Windows Mobile 6. Built-in VOIP support.

Feels slow. Quiet speakerphone. Low-res screen. No 3G. Buggy.

HP HP IPAQ HW6920 MOBILE MESSENGER

Is there such a thing as wireless overkill? Maybe not, but the HP iPaq hw6920 certainly seems to be putting that question to the test. It features compatibilty with not only the GSM/GPRS/EDGE wireless standards but also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS-a cool...

Includes built-in GPS ; Keyboard is spacious and easy to type on

Lacks a 3G data connection ; Voice quality is below average

The hw6920 includes support for a wide variety of wireless technologies, but unforgivably lacks a 3G data connection.

The New iPAQ Mobile Messenger: hw6915 - A Tough Package To Beat

So we've all had that moment of saying "Gee, I wish that my device had that built in". I can safely say that I didn't have that thought at all with the hw6915. The iPAQ hw6515's new brother seems to finally get it right on HP's third jaunt into the...

HP iPAQ Voice Messenger - HardwareZone.com

Sleek, shiny and unlike many of its earlier Windows Mobile siblings, our first impression of the HP iPAQ Voice Messenger comes off as a device worth paying some attention to.

HP iPAQ Voice Messenger

HP iPAQ Voice Messanger is a phone for those who insist on a compact mobile phone, yet need powerful voice, email, 3G and GPS features. The deceptively simple, surprisingly smart HP iPAQ Voice Messenger is small in size, but big on features.

The software is the standard package for a Windows phone. You get a Windows OS and three MS Office programs. The Notes-Tasks-Calendar-Calculator applications are the common ones found in every Windows Mobile phone.

HP iPAQ Voice Messenger

HP's latest addition to the iPAQ range of handhelds is a competent smartphone that is unfortunately let down by a mediocre control system.

Design, HSDPA connectivity, built-in GPS, Wi-Fi, HP Sliding Panel Media home screen, keypad lock button

Mediocre optical controller, keypad a little flat, questionable build quality, surface attracts plenty of fingerprints, 2.5mm headphone jack

HP's iPAQ Voice Messenger smartphone wins points for its looks, but it's not all good news. The optical controller is mediocre and the keypad is flat, making an otherwise competent handset frustrating to use.

HP iPAQ Voice Messenger

The HP Voice Messenger looks the business, but how well does it perform? Niall finds out.

Resting above the main keypad you'll find the phone's four-way optical controller, which is one of the handset's unique features. Unlike a traditional d-pad this controller doesn't rock back and forth across both axes. Instead, to move around in menus...

HP iPAQ 914c Business Messenger mobile phone

The iPAQ 914 may aimed at business users, but, with its ease of use and media features as well as the office tools that come with Windows Mobile 6.1, it's perfectly suited to anyone who needs a feature-rich smartphone. A bit slow to start up, but once...

Fast and feature rich

Slow start up and the camera is less than snappy

A bit slow to start up, but once you get going, this smartphone is easy to use, feature rich and small enough not to ruin the line of your suit.
