Beautiful 720p display ; Slim and light ; Support for 150Mbps LTE speeds ; Rich video file format support

No microSD card slot for storage expansion ; 1080p video looks average at best ; Power and volume buttons are a bit uncomfortable to press

All in all, the Huawei Ascend P2 is an okay mid-range Android smartphone. It is far from being the ultimate device of this class, but it gets the job done and it doesn't have any major drawbacks, save for the inexplicable lack of a microSD card slot....

Besides its claim to be the world's fastest 4G LTE smartphone, does the Huawei Ascend P2 have any more tricks up its sleeves? We find out in this review if it lives up to its billing and more.

Slim and lightweight ; Excellent battery performance ; Bright and sharp display ; Decent imaging quality

By all accounts, Huawei achieved the same degree of success with the Ascend P2 as it did for the Ascend P1 a year ago. The Ascend P2 may not have the latest and best specifications on paper, but it delivered a pretty decent overall performance.

The Huawei P1 was a phone we very much liked. It took Huawei away from its fairly safe designs and into uncharted territory. A bold step for a company quite new to selling phones to consumers, and one that worked well Small, light, pleasant to look at...
