Is it the best phone? Of course, not. It is not best, neither perfect. But it is really close to being both, and that alone is worth seeing and experiencing. We see why people want to get it.

The Ultimate 9502 is one of the first HSUPA-capable phones to hit the market in Australia. Although it's feature packed and the Custom and Secure i-Q portals are a nice touch, you'll need to consider whether its bulky form factor is right for you.

However be aware that Telstra's advertised data rates can be taken with a grain of salt, and set up a strong password when using Secure i-Q.

i-mate may be a relatively unknown smartphone manufacturer, but the Ultimate 9502 has potential, despite its macho size. If this is where the Dubai-based company is headed, we’re excited to see what i-mate will bring in the future.
