LG revealed back in July that it will launch ten smartphones in a newly-coined Optimus line by year-end. For now it looks like an even mix of Android and WP7 devices will be in it. In the initial announcement, the Optimus line naturally started with...

Among the low/midrange Android devices in the market, the LG Optimus One P500 stands out for its up-to-date as (Froyo), snappy performance, and bundled apps. Built solidly, the 3.2-inch screen has a wide bezel below which lie the Android buttons, with...

LG Optimus One Review

Presenting the FoneArena LG Optimus One Review. The P500 is LG's attempt to conquer the affordable smartphone segment. At one point of time , the Korean handset maker was pumping out too many handsets into the market that we could barely keep track of....

Simple yet attractive design; Android 2.2; Fast Browser; Above average battery life; Value for money; Loudspeaker

Mediocre Camera and no front facing camera; No Flash support in Browser

The Optimus One is not the fastest Android phone in the market currently but it does offer a lot of features at an affordable price point. It does not feel cheap despite being made of plastic. We are sure you wont be disappointed. The battery life is...

Clearly there is something going on with the Optimus One.. but what? It's a fairly low end Android device in a smart but fairly unremarkable slabby design, but reviews have been very positive, LG have shown some attention to detail in both hardware and...

LG Optimus One

The LG Optimus One is yet another solid mid range phone by LG.

It's sports a 3.2 ich capacitive touchscreen and Android 2.2. But, the biggest draw of this phone is that it will be one of the first Android phones in T-Mobile's line up that will include UMA calling. Look for it to drop for the holiday season.

LG Optimus One Android smartphone

LG's Optimus One is a great example of an affordable yet highly functional Android smartphone.

Low price ; Good screen and design ; Latest version of Android

Thin volume keys ; No Flash support ; Mediocre camera

The LG Optimus One may well be the best budget Android smartphone on the Australian market. A responsive capacitive touchscreen and the latest version of the Android OS combined with decent physical hardware make it great value for money.

LG Optimus One review

The LG Optimus One is an Android smartphone on a budget, but the LG Optimus One is far from nasty - its high-end specs and features make it one of the most competitive devices out there

But it’s not fair to focus on the niggly points with the Optimus One - from the moment you pick it up having only forked out £130 for it, you’ll be impressed with how similar it is to the top end Android phones on the market today.
