Moto G (2017)

The Moto G5 is, like every model in this series, a great budget Android phone. It's the near-perfect solution for people who want a phone they can buy outright or on a cheap contract.

Moto G (late 2015) review

When I think of what I want in an everyday phone, I think of battery life, camera, how it feels, and how durable it is. And yeah, how the screen looks. That's what pretty great about Motorola's latest update to its midrange budget smartphone, the Moto...

The new Moto G has improved design, water resistance and a stepped-up camera. The design and hand feel are great, and the battery lasts more than a full day.

Processor speed lags if you're trying to do many things at once. The entry-level version (8GB of storage, 1GB of RAM) is too underpowered compared to the slightly pricier step-up model.

With added water resistance and a better camera, the LTE-enabled Moto G is one of the best affordable unlocked smartphones around right now.

Motorola Moto G 8GB DVX/XT1032

Clear screen, fairly fast, cheap on monthly deals, battery life, free android apps.

Camera not brilliant. Takes average snaps. Not as intuitive as Apple, but much much cheaper to buy. Does the job fine.

Motorola Moto G 8GB DVX/XT1032

CAN'T FORWARD TXT MESSAGES ANNOYING CORRECTING TYPING WAY TOO COMPLICATED FOLLOWING SIMPLE TASKS SUCH AS MOVING FROM LAST CALLS TO ALL CONTACTS. THIS PHONE IS NOT STRAIGHT FORWARD, IS ANNOYING AND CONFUSING. OFTEN MISTAKENLY MAKE UNWANTED CALLS

Motorola Moto G 8GB DVX/XT1032

Regardless of anything else this is at a fantastic price point. An unlocked high quality, near stock android experience. I was alittle unsure of what the quality would be considering the sub 150 price, however I would rate this on par with my Nexus 4 !!!

It is not as high spec'd as some of the other new big names phones, however what it does give for the price is superb and I have not seen it struggle with any tasks yet :)
