Moto G31 Review: An OLED Smartphone Worth Considering

Moto G31: Coming as a mid-range smartphone, the new Moto G31 offers several upgrades from its predecessors. The OLED display on this phone, for instance, is a major upgrade to check out. Like all gadgets, there are both pros and cons to the new...

Immersive, OLED display ; Stock Android experience ; 50MP triple cameras ; Long-lasting battery

No in-display fingerprint sensor ; Plastic build

The sub-Rs. 15K price segment in India is surely a crowded market with a lot of options from Chinese brands. Here, the Lenovo-owned Motorola smartphone comes as a favorable choice to consider for a couple of unique features. The OLED display and the...

Moto G31 review: another excellent value budget phone from Motorola

The Moto G31 isn't 5G-ready or particularly fast, but it's still worth a look

Bright and vibrant 6.4-inch display ; Very affordable price point ; Impressive battery life

Fingerprint sensor in power button ; Display doesn't offer HDR ; No wireless charging support

The Moto G31 doesn't stray from the usual Motorola formula: it's an affordable Android handset that gives you more than you might expect from the price. Long battery life and a bright 6.4-inch display are the stand-out features here, though there are...

Moto G31 review: Still the entry-level king?

Decent resolution AMOLED display (better than than older G30's LCD) ; Long-lasting battery life ; Clean software experience

Ditches any faster refresh rate (it's 60Hz - older G30 was 90Hz) ; Poor wide-angle and macro cameras ; A little lag here and there

The replacement for the G10 and G30 brings more sensible solutions, including a better screen resolution AMOLED panel, that along with the clean software experience makes this a great affordable phone. The cameras are still so-so at best, though, but...

Motorola Moto G31 review

Motorola has swapped to MediaTek and dropped the refresh rate to 60Hz. Still, there's a lot to like about the G31 if you need a cheap smartphone

Bright OLED screen ; Good value ; Big battery ; Clean software

Laggy at times ; Slow charging ; Ok cameras ; 60Hz

Spend a little more and you'll get a much better phone, but for those with a limited budget, the Moto G31 is a solid enough choice for basic usage.

Moto G31 Review: Still an All-Rounder?

Motorola's Moto G31 packs in a few upgrades over the G30, but falls a bit short of the competition when it comes to execution

High-quality AMOLED display ; IPX2 rated ; Near-stock Android software

Average low-light camera performance

With prices starting from Rs. 12,999, the Motorola Moto G31 offers a high-quality AMOLED display, a water-resistant body, and a near-stock Android software experience. However it isn't on par with its predecessor in some regards, and its imaging...
