Motorola Moto G6 review

We can forgive the Moto G6 of its little frustrations, because the overall package is such great value.

Fast-charging battery ; Capable dual-lens camera ; Competitive price ; Good display ; NFC for Google Pay

Short battery life ; Software disappoints ; Sluggish performance

The Moto G6 defines what a good value smartphone should be like by including all the features and design flourishes you want, without an off-putting price tag. Software isn’t its strong point, and the battery isn’t large enough; but it’s great for...

The Moto G6 shouldn't be this good and still cost $249

Dual-rear cameras, a Gorilla Glass 3 body and a 1080p HD screen with an 18:9 ratio. Not too shabby for $250.

The Motorola Moto G6 has a near-stock version of Android Oreo, good dual-rear cameras, fast charging and a sleek design. And it's amazingly affordable.

The battery life is not as long as last year's Moto G5 or G5 Plus.

The Moto G6 is a sublime value, despite its minimal drawbacks.

Motorola Moto G6

The unlocked Motorola Moto G6 offers overall solid performance and surprisingly good camera capabilities for the price.

Sleek design. Solid specs. Good camera performance. Supports all major US carriers.

Below average battery life.

Unlocked phones are a dime a dozen these days, but it's hard to find ones that deliver quality camera performance for under $300. With a dual sensor setup inspired by the Moto X4, the Moto G6 delivers some of the best image quality we've seen in this...

Motorola Moto G6 Smartphone Review

G as in genius? The latest offshoot of the Motorola-G series is advertised self-confidently and presents itself as a successful advancement of the Moto G5s. A faster SoC, a dual camera, and an updated design are supposed to attract customers. You can...

bright high-contrast display ; dual SIM and microSD expansion ; good dual camera ; attractive design ; reliable GPS ; good voice quality

glass back attracts dirt and is slippery ; low WLAN range ; only LTE Cat. 4

After just six month, Motorola offers its latest addition of the popular G series to the customers. With a new display, glass back, a dual camera, and the new Snapdragon 450, the jump turns out larger than that between the Moto G5 and the G5s earlier....

Moto G6 review (2018) – Is it still the best smartphone under $250?

It's hard to believe it's already been five years since Moto introduced the first G-series phone. Before the Moto G, buying an affordable handset meant getting stuck with crappy hardware, inferior software, and a terrible There's no doubt the Moto G6...

Premium materials ; Stock Android ; Feature-rich camera ; Solid performance ; Legacy CDMA support ; Affordable

No NFC ; No water resistance ; So-so battery life

Does the new Moto G6 live up to the Moto G legacy?

Motorola Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play Review

We were very excited to get the new Motorola Moto G6, G6 Plus and Play models in the office. Freshly announced, they span the budget gamut of $200-$300, and there seems to be a model for everybody. Did Motorola manage to hit the sweet spot of specs,...

Value for money ; Long battery life from the G6 Play and Plus ; Good looks and craftsmanship ; Clean, fast stock Android ; Useful navigation and interface gestures ; Hot-swappable dual SIM card, AND a microSD slots

Average still image quality ; Display colors aren’t too natural ; The earpiece/speakers on the G6 and G6 Play sound tinny and hollow

Moto G6 Review: All the Phone You Need for $250

The Moto G6 is a great phone for almost anyone — whether that's a young person in your life or someone who doesn't care to shell out a whole lot on hardware. And we really mean anyone, because the G6's dual-band support allows Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile...

Comfortable to use ; Powerful audio ; Now with Android Pie ; Solid performance ; Works on all major networks

No NFC ; Underwhelming cameras

With solid power, great software and an inviting design, the Moto G6 is everything a budget phone should be.

Moto G6 review: A predictably good value

Motorola's high-end phones have disappointed in the last few years, but its budget devices have offered the best value of any low-cost phones. We don't

Display ; The 5.7-inch 1080p display is crisp, and the 18:9 aspect ratio makes the phone more comfortable to hold. It's narrower than last year's Moto G even though the screen is bigger. ; Type-C ; A lot of cheap phones still default to microUSB, but...

Design ; The back is slippery glass that could break if dropped. Dust also accumulates in the crack between the glass and plastic frame. The camera module is ugly—no other way to put it. ; Not water-resistant ; Motorola continues to call its phones...

Motorola exited the Indian mobile phone market in late 2012 as a part of its global restructuring policy. Later, Google acquired the company for $12.5 billion, and Motorola re-entered the Indian market in 2014 with an ultra-successful launch of the...

Moto G6 Review

Motorola launched the Moto G6 , successor of last year's Moto G5 in India last week. It comes with an improved display, new design, better cameras and lots more compared to the predecessor. Since this is a major upgrade, the launch price is also Rs....

Good display ; Good design and premium build for the price ; Decent cameras for the price ; Dedicated SIM and microSD slots

All glass body is slippery ; Not a powerful SoC for the price ; Battery life is not impressive

Overall, the Moto G6 is a good upgrade to the last year’s Moto G5 offering an eye-catching design with good build quality, and dedicated SIM and microSD slots instead of hybrid slot. However, the camera is not impressive and the battery life it just...
