Motorola moto g8 review

Motorola moto g8 review – Mid-range smartphones are quite popular because they are affordable and still good to be used as daily drivers. We've seen every smartphone brand releasing a mid-range phone like the OPPO A91 or the Google Pixel 4a (check our...

The moto g8 is a good, mid-range phone that does a great job to keep things running smoothly. It has a good battery life, good display, and also a good camera to take your daily snaps. It also has a fingerprint unlock at the back of the phone.

Motorola Moto G8 Review | Trusted Reviews

The Motorola G8 sits more or less square in the middle of the series, offering more features than the Play but fewer than the Plus or Power.

Good main camera;Decent performance and battery life;Impressive value

Screen is not the best

Moto G8 review: a decent smartphone on a tight budget

The Moto G8 won't wow you with specs, but it will get the job done

Reliable fingerprint sensor ; Decent camera in daylight ; Battery will last the whole day

There’s no 5G support ; You can’t stream FHD video ; No NFC for contactless payments

The Moto G8 is a solid smartphone suited to those on a tight budget. Its best asset is its long-lasting battery, and the camera was surprisingly good, although you can’t expect to take award-winning photography on it.

Moto G8 review

The Moto G8 is one of the best affordable phones the company has ever made.

Even lower price than Moto G7 Strong performance Great battery life

No NFC feels like a miss Only 720p display Macro shooter not helpful

The Moto G8 isn’t going to floor you in what it can do, but considering the price you should be impressed with what Motorola has managed to fit into this tight and consistently well-performing package. With strong battery life, great performance for...

Moto G8 review: Affordable phones don't come better than this

If your budget is under 200 then there's nothing better to buy. The extra cameras aren't up to much, but there's little else holding this Moto G back.

Super price tag - you won't get a more balanced performer at this price ; Battery life is impressive - well beyond last year's G7 model ; Design that isn't a brick - proves you needn't lack finesse when on a budget

Ultra-wide camera results are soft/poor quality ; Macro camera there for the sake of it ; Lower screen resolution than other G series models

If your budget is under 200 then we can think of nothing better to buy outright. The extra cameras aren't up to much, but in terms of smooth operability and longevity there's no holding this Moto G back.

Moto G8 Review

Moto has been churning out quality budget phones for several years now and its consistency shows no sign of slowing down. With the Moto G8, the company aims to provide decent performance at sub-£200 price – quite the task.

– Value-for-money performance, impressive main camera and strong battery life

– Lacklustre display

The Moto G8 is easily one of the best phones you can buy for under £200 – offering many strong features that most budget phones fail to nail. A disappointing display prevents the G8 from achieving greatness but there’s still a whole lot to like.

Motorola Moto G8 review

No bank-breaking here

Great bang for buck ; Decent value camera ; Clean interface

No NFC ; Plastic build ; 720p display

The G8 is a workhorse with a decent camera and stonking battery life for the price, despite its compromises.
