Motorola RAZR V3x review: Sweet-sour mix

Here comes the most equipped non-OS Motorola phone of all times! Not exactly a razor-thin phone, made of plumy plastic. It features a 2 megapixel camera with brilliant macro mode and flash LED, and a top-class display. 3G is a matter of fact. At the...

In this review we provide you with a detailed review, which is supposed to help you decide, whether sparing money for V3x is worth the effort. You may also want to consider a purchase of the successor of the original Razr model, Motorola V3i, instead

Motorola V3x (3G)

Though not quite as stylish as its slimmer and sexier predecessors, the new RAZR V3x has been given a set of much needed upgrades to keep its bloodline flowing healthily.

Motorola RAZR V3x

So.. if you don't mind a LONG wait for this handset, and don't mind that the specification is only pretty average for a late 2005 3G handset, and you are prepared to put up with the keypad then the RAZR V3x does look like a pretty stylish device.

Motorola V1150

Looking for all the world like a RAZR handset on steroids, the V1150 can be seen as the clamshell equivalent of the E1120 or E1060, being a powerful 3G handset that's also about the most stylish in its class.

Motorola RAZR V3x

Strutting a sleek, slim design and premium functionality, the Motorola RAZR V3x exudes multimedia perfection. A 2 mega-pixel camera, Bluetooth?wireless technology* and removable memory add to this lengthy feature set.

Running out of design ideas, are we?

Motorola V3x 3G mobile phone

So you like the Motorola V3, tempted by its slimline body, but really want 3G connectivity and a better digital camera. If you're a fan of the Razr V3 and its styling then you'll no doubt like the V3x as it's a competent phone that offers all you would...

2 megapixel camera, Razr styling, Vodafone menu make over

Chubbier than the Razr

If you're a fan of the Razr V3 and its styling then you'll no doubt like the V3x as it's a competent phone that offers all you would want from a 3G handset.

Motorola RAZR V3x

Based on the design of the Motorola RAZR V3, the slightly thicker V3x is a 3G-enabled handset with a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and an MP3 player.

Two-way video calls and streaming. Large internal keypad with clear vivid images. Robust and stylish. Decent audio playback.

Camera image quality very average unless in strong daylight. Disappointing battery life. Fiddly menu design.

A sleek and robust design wrapped around some interesting features, the Motorola RAZR V3x outclasses its 2G predecessor in both style and performance but is not as razor sharp as the hype might suggest.
