History of the Nokia Phone

With the advent of new technology the way of communication is also changed. In very early days of history, pigeons were used as means of communication. Later, written messages are sent through letters by post. As the time passed, telephone came into...

A little attention is received recently towards the potential impact of the kind of electromagnetic fields generated by cellular phones on the human brain. Accumulating evidence indicate that microwave radiation from mobile phones may cause serious...

Nokia Comes With Music

Nokia's subscription-based music service allows unlimited music downloads for a full year, but the tracks are encumbered with DRM protection.

Unlimited music downloads, no 'fair use' policy, wide range of music available through Nokia Music Store

DRM-protected WMA files, not compatible with Macs, can only play tracks on one nominated phone and PC

All in all, Nokia's Comes With Music offer of 12 months' free music is certainly enticing, but do remember that there is a catch — all music is DRM-protected, so you can only play the music on your Nokia phone and one nominated PC. That being said, if...

Nokia Comes With Music review

If you like to download music all the time and are content with Nokia's DRM restrictions, Comes With Music is great value. For £157 you could buy 224 songs at 70p each from Amazon's MP3 store, although you could play them on any computer or music...

Nokia Comes With Music review

We test out Nokia's brand spanking new Comes With Music service. But is it an iTunes killer or just another wannabe?

Cheap and cheerful ; Lots of choice ; Easy to use UI

PC only ; Installation gripes ; Two-month activation window ; Limited handset choice at present

If we went back in a time machine and discovered this little gem pre-iTunes, we’d be smiling and singing its praises. Alas, we find ourselves in 2008 where Apple still has the market cornered, so our joy is peppered with bouts of being under whelmed

Good for occasional use

The Nokia Tracfone is fairly cheap. I've seen them running as low as $10 at the discount stores such as Family Dollar and Dollar General. The minutes, however, are not as cheap. If you talk on this phone a lot, you will quickly run out of minutes, even...

TracFone not worth the trouble put into it.

I got a Nokia TracFone in December, but it seems like every time I go to do something simple on it, that you should be able to do yourself, I always end up having to call customer service! Activating it was the first fiasco. They just couldn't get it...
