The Nokia Lumia 635's style puts it way ahead of other inexpensive smartphones on T-Mobile, although its camera capabilities are seriously lacking.

Two weeks ago, we would have written the Lumia 635 off as a middling device you'd probably pass over. After the last week's events, it might be the new direction of Windows Phone.

Adding 4G LTE has meant the battery life has taken a hit, its screen resolution is unimpressive and its camera isn't really up to anything more than the odd Instagram snap.
